McCrary’s roots can be traced back to the bustling city of Birmingham, Alabama, where he was born at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He spent his formative years in the suburb of Hoover, Alabama, attending the well-regarded Hoover High School. Upon receiving his General Education Development (GED) from Jefferson State Community College in 2007, he developed a strong interest in industrial electronics, leading him to pursue an Associate Degree from Wallace State Community College in 2015.

In his professional role, he is recognized for his keen expertise in control engineering. He is skilled in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programming, and electrical troubleshooting. He has brought these skills to bear throughout his career, helping increase efficiency and improve runs in various manufacturing environments. Furthermore, he has recently bolstered his skill set with a CORE certification from Inductive Automation, making him a certified integrator of their “Ignition” software.
